Gifting the home on death
In an era of rising prices, the home has become a particularly valuable asset to be used as a last result for lifetime gifts or tax oriented death gifts. In order to benefit from such an asset however, inheritance tax and other tax aspects of the home must be carefully scrutinised during lifetime and on death.
